- Today I went to Riga, took an exam, came back - almost 500 km. It was funny: I got the grade sheet from the secretary, and there was one exam on it, which was expected. We wrote (copied) the exam, and I immediately returned the grade sheet.
- I also tried some home-smoked meat and finally bought a network card, which for some reason costs $5 in Riga and $7-8 here. While installing it, I realized that DUST - IS ALIENS who have occupied my room and are using my computer for their nefarious calculations. I tried to kill the aliens with a vacuum cleaner, but the vacuum cleaner comes from the decadent West, and so it can only suck air in, not blow it out. In the end, the aliens still scattered evenly around the room; I only hope they haven't penetrated my brain.
- Soulseek seems to be working better. The search is crap, as usual, but at least it downloads and doesn't shut down. Why can't I find the band Electroputas anywhere? I'm trying to figure out rateyourmusic.com for storing my wishlist. For some reason it's slow. Could it be the new network card?
- Dad called from Morocco; he says tomorrow they'll be taking the ferry across Gibraltar back to Europe.
